The Daniel Defense AR15 Lite Rail utilizes the Patent Pending Bolt Up SystemTM which allows the upper receiver to have a continuous uninterrupted upper rail platform.

The Daniel Defense 9.5 FSP Free Float Rail System features a cut in the front of the top rail to accommodate the front sight post and gas block of a carbine length AR15 gas system, while at the same time, providing much needed additional rail space along the sides and bottom rails.

More rail space means enhanced capability for modern rifle accessories.

Every rail is available with either ladders or panels which are made from cantoprene, which can handle heat up to 350.

Materials & Construction

Precision CNC machined 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat type 3 mil-spec anodized black for a rock hard lasting finish while weighing in at a mere 10.2 ozs.

This is one hell of a rail, very strong and stable and very lightweight. I have one on my Colt 6920 upper which also has the new Primary Weapons piston conversion installed on it. This combination looks very clean. The Primary Weapons gas block is the same height as the Lite Rail and upper receiver so it gives it a monolithic look.

This is my first FF tube and I am very pleased that I went with DD. I cannot believe how light this thing is. Excellent quality and easy to install. This is covering my Adams Arms Piston and it all came together without a hitch. And the looks are awesome. Everyone that sees it wants one. Great job Daniels Defense in developing such an awesome product.

This rail is a conversation starter. People who know Daniel Defense say, “awesome.” And those that don’t, want to know more.

I originally selected the 9.5 FSP to replace my original handguards when I purchased a gas piston conversion. The fit was perfect. Having a free-floating system is an added bonus. This is an awesome platform and I recommend it to everyone.
